SummaryFor the past two week we have been learning about viruses and things that make us sick. We have studied and investigated many ways to protect ourselves and our families.
Many students also did an excellent job writing about viruses in public service announcements.
Today we will learn about pathogens.
Infectious diseases are caused by bacteria, fungi, protozoa, or viruses that can travel from one person to another. Infectious diseases can be spread by a vector, an organism that carries pathogens from one person or animal to another.
